How to enrol if you get reduced fees
Find out whether you’re entitled to reduced fees when paying for your course. If you’re entitled to reduced fees, you can enrol online, but you’ll need to pay for the course then claim a partial refund – you can do so by sending copies of any benefits you’ve claimed in the last three months to adultlearning@lewisham.gov.uk.
Pre-course assessments
For some courses you’ll need to complete an assessment before you can enrol. This will help us choose the right course for your skill level. You can book a pre-course assessment by calling 020 8314 3300, Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm.
You can also email your contact details to adultlearning@lewisham.gov.uk and we’ll call you to make an appointment.
What happens at a pre-course assessment
As part of the assessment, you will need to:
- provide evidence of your identity
- bring evidence of any benefits claimed in the last three months or a bank statement or wage slip if you are on a low income, and are applying for reduced fees
- pay your course fees (where applicable) and complete your enrolment
