Supported employment service
Our supported employment service empowers adults with SEND to achieve their work goals through personalised, firsthand support. We collaborate with employers to create inclusive workplaces that focus on individual strengths and carefully match candidates to suitable roles. Once in the workplace, we continue to provide support – helping individuals succeed and supporting employers to keep inclusive environments.
Hospitality skills
This practical course helps adults with SEND gain real-world hospitality skills through activities in food preparation, barista training and customer service. Learners build job readiness, confidence, and communication skills while completing work experience in our on-site adult learning cafe.
Pathways into work
This course supports adults with SEND who are ready to prepare for work. Learners will develop the skills and confidence they need to apply for jobs, attend interviews and understand what to expect in the workplace. Through a combination of classroom learning and practical activities, learners recognise their strengths, set goals and build towards sustainable employment.
Work skills
This course supports adults with SEND in taking their first steps towards work or volunteering. Learners will be supported in building work-related skills, including using a diary, timekeeping and communicating with others. This course is tailored to individual needs and interests – learners will explore what jobs they might enjoy, and which organisations can support them.
