Pilates for core strength including elements of bone care
Pilates is a method of exercise that uses low impact movements to promote flexibility, muscular strength and endurance. The benefits of this practice include proper postural alignment, increased core strength and improved muscle balance. This class focuses on the needs of mature adults who would like to improve their muscular strength and bone health under the supervision of an experienced tutor. Note, it is essential that you have the ability to manoeuvre your body to the floor as much of the course is mat based.

Pilates – all levels – autumn
Pilates is a form of exercise that concentrates on building strength from the core of the body. It can help you improve your posture, muscular strength, mobility and breathing. In this 10-week course you’ll learn a variety of exercises that flow smoothly from one to the next, with a focus on technique and control. Each class builds on the last, so as the movements become more challenging you’ll learn how to use your core muscles more effectively, leaving you feeling more in tune with your movements and more flexible throughout your body.
