Balloon decoration

This 4-week course will introduce you to all the skills needed to construct a range of air-filled balloon installations for celebrations and events, including birthday parties, baby showers & christenings. Using an arch as the core design construction, you will begin to learn how to develop different design shapes and styles. The course will cover sizing & inflation, construction techniques and ideas on using accessories. It will also include essential Health & Safety knowledge, build commercial awareness & design costing skills, and show how you can enhance your work by using simple design theory

This 3- session workshop will build on the skills acquired in the beginners course. It will focus on refining techniques & design styles, and adapting them to suit different events such as parties and corporate events with a festive and seasonal theme. Using a contemporary colour palette, you also will incorporate appropriate props and other accessories into your work- and you will continue to develop additional freelance business skills and knowledge, including profitable design costing
