Floristry and balloon decoration

Our courses are designed for all abilities, from complete beginners to those with more experience. They are taught by industry qualified tutors who are experts in their subject areas, and who also run their own freelance businesses.

You may be joining a course to have some valuable time to yourself doing something you enjoy, or to support a new career or enterprise, such as event decoration. In addition to our practical design-based courses, we also offer a number of introductory industry skills sessions, aimed at building your confidence to take on your first commission.

Balloon decoration

Our courses teach skills to create air-filled organic balloon decorations for events like parties, baby showers, weddings, and christenings. Starting with arches or garlands, you’ll learn to craft various shapes and styles.

Beginner sessions cover basic commercial awareness and design costing, which are further developed in improver courses, helping you build both creative and practical skills for balloon design and event decoration.

Floristry

If you love flowers and want to explore your creativity, our short courses offer diverse skills, techniques, and sustainable design styles. Perfect for beginners or those with experience, the courses cover essential industry knowledge for personal or professional use.

You’ll learn bouquet making, wedding and funeral arrangements, party and small event decorations, and seasonal designs like festive door wreaths.
