Book binding and illustration
Book binding and illustration
Our courses invite you into the world of hand-drawn illustration, visual storytelling and small-scale publishing. Taught by a highly skilled tutor, courses are ideal for anyone beginning their journey in illustration.
Starting with character design, composition, and storyboarding, you will learn how illustration becomes a storytelling language. Some courses include simple printmaking and bookbinding, providing opportunities to compile and share your work in forms like zines, notebooks, or the early stages of a picture book.
Glasswork
Glasswork
Discover the potential of glass in our welcoming studio space. Our courses will guide you through different techniques including stained glass, engraving, sculpture, fusing, slumping, foil, gilding and painting.
Stained glass and glass fusing are central to our teaching approach, providing opportunities to combine traditional craftsmanship with contemporary techniques. Whether layering textures, blending fused elements, engraving surface detail, or adding hand painted touches, you’ll develop the skills to make original pieces of glass art.
Jewellery
Jewellery
Whether you’re new to jewellery making or looking to expand your skills, our courses offer a space where traditional skills and contemporary approaches are valued. You’ll learn how to cut and pierce metal, explore enamelling, experiment with surface finishes, and work with recycled materials to create one-of-a-kind pieces.
From simple designs to sculptural forms, rings and bracelets to fine art jewellery, you’ll be encouraged to rethink the boundaries of what jewellery can be.
Printing

Our courses are designed for those who want to do more than just learn techniques – they’re for individuals wanting to explore the relationship between process and material.
Led by professional artists, each session is structured to expand your understanding of contemporary and traditional practices. You’ll work with tools and techniques across screen printing, etching, gelli plates, Tetra Pak, kitchen lithography and lino print in a space that values exploration, allowing you to develop your own style.
